How dimples handles your data.

dimples is a private couples memory app. We collect only the data needed to create, save, sync, and bill for dimples.

Information we collect

• Account data such as your app user ID and display name.
• Purchase and subscription status from Apple and RevenueCat.
• Memory content you choose to create, such as titles, captions, notes, dates, and generated scenes.
• Location information for memories you place on the map.
• Photos you select for memory generation and avatar generation.

How we use that information

• To authenticate you and keep your dimples tied to your account.
• To generate scenes and avatar references.
• To sync shared couple memories and balances.
• To process subscriptions, top-ups, restores, and billing updates.
• To respond to support requests.

Photos and storage

Original date photos stay on the device that created the memory whenever possible. When you start a generation, the selected photos are sent to our backend and AI providers only to create the requested result. Generated scenes and avatar references may be stored remotely so they can be shown across devices.

Third parties

dimples uses Firebase for authentication, database, storage, and backend hosting, RevenueCat for purchase state, Apple for in-app purchases and Sign in with Apple, and AI providers to generate scenes.

Tracking and advertising

dimples does not use your data for third-party advertising and does not track you across apps or websites.

Data deletion

You can delete your account from inside the app. Account deletion permanently removes your profile, dimples, pairing data, and associated stored content from dimples. Subscription cancellation is handled separately by Apple.
